Safe Haven Wish List

  • A yard buggy / trailer – something pregnant ladies could use easily to help with yard work like picking up limbs, etc.
  • A walking trail in the back 4 acres for exercise.
  • A nice cedar fence across the back to shield the neighbor’s well house, etc. from view. This would not be a “usual” cedar fence (build to Elgin’s specs / design).
  • Pottery making equipment (wheel, kiln, etc.)
  • Demo existing “skeleton” structure by the metal building, modify foundation (very uneven) and build a structure for pottery classes, etc.
  • Demo old house slab on back 4 acres, or evaluate for its use as something?
  • Improve road leading to metal building / back 4 acres.
  • Evaluate / layout back four acres for possible mobile home for aftercare program. Electrical utilities and septic. We have enough capacity in our new well, and it is located so as to offer water service easily to the back 4 acres.
